how to increase best natural testosterone boosters for men
What are the best natural testosterone boosters for men?
The main
idea, you’re not just looking for a quick fix; you’re aiming for sustainable,
long-term gains that support your overall health, energy, and performance.
Here's what
it was like when I first started out.
One of the
most potent natural testosterone boosters is resistance training - especially
when you focus on heavy lifting. Exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench
presses not only build muscle but also stimulate your body’s testosterone
production (I can attest to this with my personal experience).
These
compound movements engage multiple muscle groups, pushing your body to release
more testosterone as it repairs and strengthens those muscles. Consistency is
key here; regular heavy lifting tells your body that it needs to ramp up
testosterone production to keep up with the demands you’re placing on it.
If you’re
looking to enhance your natural testosterone levels (just take a look at the
profile), adding a high-quality testosterone booster to your regimen can be a
game-changer. These supplements are formulated with ingredients like D-aspartic
acid, fenugreek, and tribulus terrestris, all known to support your body’s
testosterone production.
When
combined with a solid workout routine, these boosters can help you achieve your
muscle-building and performance goals faster by enhancing the hormonal
environment your body needs to thrive.
Here's what
I've got so far.
Also, don’t underestimate the power of healthy fats in your
diet. Foods rich in omega-3 and monounsaturated fats, such as avocados, nuts,
seeds, and olive oil, are essential for testosterone production.
These fats support your endocrine system and provide the
necessary cholesterol for hormone synthesis. Without enough healthy fats, your
body might struggle to produce the hormones it needs to maintain optimal
testosterone levels.
Sleep is where your body does some of its most important
work, including producing testosterone. During deep sleep, your body releases
the most testosterone, making quality rest essential.
By focusing on these natural methods and integrating a
testosterone booster into your routine, you’re not just enhancing your
testosterone levels; you’re building a lifestyle that supports your body’s
natural ability to thrive.
Remember, it’s about consistency and balance, creating an
environment where your body can naturally produce the testosterone you need to
stay strong, energized, and healthy.

How we increase testosterone ?
At one point, I had fairly low testosterone, at the very low end of the normal range (right around 300 ng/dL).
At that time, I was experiencing pretty extreme anxiety and insomnia so that probably contributed the most. I probably had a crappy diet at that time too.
My BMI was probably in the high 20s, and I was sedentary most of the time.
Fast forward a couple years later, and my testosterone is over 1000, which is on the high end of normal and probably above my baseline.
I have a few educated guesses on what caused my levels to triple:
- I got my sleep back under control at that point (thanks to Xanax and the pandemic allowing us to wfh really lowered stress levels)
- Because my sleep was better, I was able to start lifting weights and being active again (also more time due to working remotely)
- Lowered my BMI to around 15%. This is mainly dieting, watching my calories, keeping my protein high, etc.
- Dutasteride. I had started using topical dutasteride to slow my hair loss and because it suppresses the conversion of testosterone to dht, I think this also caused a spike (and my doctor thought so too). This alone wouldn’t explain my test level tripling, but it is definitely a big factor.
Note: I’m not recommending getting on dutasteride (or any other dht blocker) just for the sake of increasing test. I honestly don’t know if suppressing dht has some negative health consequences. I only use it to slow my hair loss.
- Semen retention. I honestly believe that this is another huge factor. I believe I was on a schedule where I would only ejaculate every 2 weeks. This is why professional fighters abstain from sex for several weeks before they fight.
The thing is, I really wasn’t focused on increasing my testosterone and I’m pretty sure there are probably even more effective methods that I haven’t tried. But this is what worked for me.
